From heartfelt laughs to dance-floor chaos (in the best way), this night was pure joy. Sarah, thank you for bringing your magic to our community — we’ll miss you, but your sparkle’s part of us forever. ✨💛

We traded bingo cards for cat toys and launched the Dougherty Ferry Catnip Club! 🐾 Our Memory Care residents fostered three sweet kittens from Animal Protective Association of Missouri (APA), giving them a month of snuggles, baths, and all-out spoiling. All three found forever homes — but not before our residents got their fill of kitten cuddles and purrs. 🐱💜

We had such a wonderful time raising butterflies from tiny caterpillars! 🌱

It began with a delivery of hungry little caterpillars who spent days munching and growing fast. Then we got to witness the magic: spinning silk, forming cocoons, and patiently transforming. Each day we kept them moist with a gentle spray of water, and before we knew it they emerged as beautiful butterflies! 🐣✨

Our residents loved every step of the journey, from feeding time to the big release. 💛 It was a hands-on, heartwarming experience that reminded us all how amazing nature can be. 🌼

From avocado pits to onion skins… who knew trash could turn into TRENDY? 🌿✨ Our Dougherty Ferry crew rolled up their sleeves to naturally dye fabric, and the results were fashion-forward bandanas straight out of a western daydream.

Martha rocked hers on the runway (aka our community halls) and now we’re gearing up to make extras for our big Hoedown Showdown in October. Inflatable cows included. 🐄💃

☁️ The sky may have been gray, but our spirits were soaring at the Gateway Arch! 📍 Our Dougherty Ferry residents rode all the way up to the very top, taking in sweeping views of St. Louis, Busch Stadium, and the bustling city below. 🏟️👀

We explored the beautifully remodeled museum, swapped stories about Cardinals games, and even reminisced about Fredbird and our trusty Artbrella making an appearance at the ballpark. ⚾️☂️

There is something so special about being a tourist in your own city. ❤️ We are proud to call St. Louis home and the Arch reminded us exactly why. ✨

Forget plain soda,we went dirty! 🥤💥 Inspired by the viral TikTok Dirty Soda craze, our residents experimented with coconut cream, maraschino cherries, strawberry lemonade twists, and of course, the all-important TrueLime 🍋 packets.

Spoiler: Every combo was a hit. ✔️
Confession: We’re officially hooked. 😎

Edible Arrangements…watch out 👀🍍! Our Dougherty Ferry Assisted Living & Memory Care residents and their families just might give you a run for your money.

We hosted our very first Fruit Arranging Night, and it was a hit! From juicy strawberries and vibrant melons to grapes, pineapples, and cherries, families got creative building colorful fruit bouquets with skewers and toothpicks. The results? Nothing short of deliciously stunning. 🍉💐

This night was more than fruit—it was about laughter, connection, and trying something new together. 💛
