🧘🏾‍♀️can decrease blood pressure 🌻It has helped me so far above and beyond this list. It has enhanced my connection with the Universe, with God, like nothing else has. Nearly every prophet, in every spiritual or religious tradition including The Bible has received Divine guidance in “the silence”. When we listen, the Great Spirit of Universe speaks (perhaps is always speaking) and space is created for a kind of understanding to wash over us. Also... scientists seem to agree that meditation is pretty cool. So go ahead and try it. There are a ton of apps out there if you need some guidance. You can also tune into a yoga class (like my free instagram live class here at noon) which incorporates easy access meditation often at the beginning and end of class. Otherwise, take a moment. Set a timer for 1 minute to start, gradually each day, take it up minute by minute. That what I did. I now am able to sit in meditation for 40 minutes at a time. I am more patient, more focused, and more connected to God and the world around me than I ever have been before. Reach out if you have any questions 🌙 I would love to chat 🤍

Adho Mukha Svanasana or Downward Facing Dog 🐶✨ Feet are hips distance apart ✨ Toes facing forward with heels pressing down ✨ Legs straight (with microbend to avoid hypertension) ✨ Hands flat ✨ Weight is evenly distributed through all “four corners” of the palms ✨ Arms also straight but also w/micro bend to avoid hypertension ✨ Biceps in external rotation ✨ Shoulders away from ears ✨ Spine long or with a slight backbend (not rounding)✨ Neck in neutral ✨ This pose creates length in the spine, tones the upper body and abdominals 🐶 Opens the shoulders and chest 🐶 Stretches the hamstrings, hips, and calves
