Aveanna patient Emmory has received private duty nursing services for a little over a year. Her care team's partnership with her family gives her the support she needs to thrive right at home, where she feels safest and most loved.

Emmory has both a tracheostomy and a g-tube, which require skilled, compassionate care around the clock. Thanks to her incredible Aveanna nurses, she’s able to enjoy her days doing what she loves!

Meet Sarah, one of our Aveanna patients who lives with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).

Sarah has been part of the Aveanna family since 2013. She lives at home with her brother, who also has SMA, and their mom. During Spinal Muscular Atrophy Awareness Month, we honor individuals like Sarah and her brother for their unique perspective, their courage, and their optimism in the face of challenges.
