Thirty years ago, Operation Walk went on its very first mission to CIMEQ and planted an oak tree to commemorate the occasion. In 2019 we visited the oak and planted another to mark the anniversary of our partnership.

Finishing up , we wanted to give a shout-out to our non-medical volunteers.

These individuals leave their day jobs behind for a week to help move supplies, sort medications, organize donations, and give patients the extra TLC they need to start their road to recovery.
Thank you for all you do to both help missions become a reality and to be successful. We couldn't restore mobility without you!

Operation Walk-The First Step into a New Life

Operation Walk is a volunteer organization that provides free surgery to patients that have no access to care for arthritis or other bone and joint conditions. Founded in 1996 by orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Lawrence Dorr, our organization has grown to eighteen teams across the United States, Canada, and Ireland and has served over 10,000 patients world wide.
