Today, on World AIDS Day, we hold space for remembrance, resilience, and reflection. :candle:

We remember the lives lost to HIV/AIDS. We honor the strength and courage of those living with HIV today. And we reflect on our shared responsibility to fight stigma, promote compassionate care, and support the health and dignity of every member of our LGBTQ+ community.

The fight isn’t over. Let’s continue to educate, support, and advocate—together.

In today’s Art Session, we practiced the art form of collaging and as looked that the similarities of New York-based artist Mickalene Thomas, who is best known for her elaborate paintings composed of rhinestones, acrylic and enamel and the works of French artist, Henri Matisse, who started creating cut-outs as a standalone art form in the early 1940s because a serious illness and subsequent surgery left him physically weakened and unable to paint or sculpt effectively.
