Although Dr.Chun has a general practice, he focuses much of his energies toward Pediatric, Developmental, and Neuro-Rehabilitative Vision Care. ating the underlying vision problem that was hindering their performance. In addition, Dr. Chun treats neurological vision disorders related to head trauma, strokes, and brain tumors to restore visual and motor function for improved quality of daily living skills. We have treated numerous cases of Autism, PDD NOS, Prader Willi Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other neuro-developmental cases to improve their function and ability to achieve optimal visual performance for school, work, and daily living. In 1988, Dr. Chun earned his Fellowship and Board Certification in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD) following submission of case reports and passing a rigorous written and oral examination. COVD is the organization that serves as the certifying body of optometrists specializing in Vision Development. Dr. Lawrence Yu is a full scope optometrist trained and licensed to provide therapeutic care, glaucoma treatment, and comprehensive eye care. His clinical experience includes adult and pediatric care, specialty contacts for people who have been told they could never wear contacts, myopia control through orthokeratology, refractive surgery, vision therapy, low vision rehabilitation and children with special needs. In addition to his strong clinical background, Dr. Yu looks forward to creating partnerships with his patients to provide excellent solutions to their vision and health problems.
