Such a beautiful day of healing and peace today in Princeton. I thought I would share an excerpt from my book that I am writing. It comes from the chapter on Self-Love which is a main component of one’s healing.
“❤️🩹 When peace fills my heart, I can see clearly and gratitude fills my heart. Sometimes, love from a distance is the healthiest kind. 💔✨It’s tough when people—yes, even family—can’t or won’t recognize your worth. You give, you show up, you forgive, you try… but it’s never enough for them to truly see you. And they continue to be disrespectful, gossip and spread untruths about you. Judge you prior to investigation or any type of due diligence~all the low frequency life can offer to those who choose them.
And that’s okay.
Not everyone is meant to walk closely with me even if they share my blood. The most loving thing I can do—for myself—is step back, set boundaries, and love people from afar.
My peace matters. My self-worth matters. I value myself so much. I don’t need to keep shrinking to fit into someone else’s limited view of me. I will keep shining and in service to others. The right hearts will always recognize my light. God places those hearts on my path.
