A VICTORY FOR US All
On March 27, we concluded the Torrance-South Bay YMCA’s 2025 Annual Community Support Campaign with an in-person Victory Celebration. Thank you to Lukas Gonzalez for leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance and sharing your personal Y story and experience. Thank you to the Y's Men's Club for your generous donation to our Y!

Thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers, hardworking staff, and generous donors for offering your valuable time, generously giving back to our community, and demonstrating true social responsibility. Our 2025 Annual Campaign helped to raise over $690,000!

The Y's Teams Campaign 3rd Report Meeting was held virtually on March 20. Thank you for participating in our Aquatics Trivia! At our meeting we reported a grand total of $61, 608 raised which is 49% of our goal - we're getting closer!

Our Victory Meeting will be held IN-PERSON on Thursday, March 27 at 6pm and we will be showcasing our senior programs --- dress to impress for the celebration! 🌟

The Y's Teams Campaign 2nd Report Meeting was held in-person on March 13 with a St. Patrick's Day theme and Irish meal. 🍀 Thank you Cyndy Bradfisch for your special invocation and thank you to the Soltero & Aguilar children for leading the pledge of allegiance. Ken Seeraty shared his Y story about his wonderful experience with the Y's before & after school child care program. At our meeting we reported a grand total of $39,290 raised which is 31% of our goal!

The Y's Teams Campaign 1st Report Meeting was held virtually on March 6. Thank you Abel Gonzalez for sharing your Y story about how the Y's teen programs have positively impacted your life. Thank you all for participating in our teen program trivia questions! At our meeting we reported a total of $27,805 raised - let's keep the momentum going!

Torrance-South Bay YMCA kicked off the 2nd leg of our 2025 Annual Community Support Campaign on February 27 with a Mardi Gras themed dinner for our Teams Campaigners. Community volunteers will be gathering together for 5 weeks to help raise funds to support our community, vital programs and resources that the Y offers.

A special thank you to Tim McDonald, Marc Mitchell, and Mike Griffiths for opening the meeting, Lori Rayor for your heartfelt invocation and quote, to Jr Clippers Coach DJ Johnson and his children for leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and to Vanessa Torres for sharing her Y story about how the Y has positively impacted her family. And thank you to our volunteers for serving dinner to our guests and thank you to our Teams Campaigners for generously dedicating your time and effort to raise funds for the Y. Congratulations on another successful Major Gifts Campaign for the Torrance-South Bay YMCA! At our Victory meeting on February 5, we exceeded our campaign target this year - raising $565,000 which is over 107% of our goal!

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our Top Veteran Campaigner Mike McKinney and to our Top Rookie Campaigner Simon Mattox!

CELEBRATING OUR VICTORY
On March 28, we concluded the Torrance-South Bay YMCA’s 2024 Annual Community Support Campaign with an in-person Victory Celebration. Thank you to all of our volunteer campaigners, hardworking staff, and generous donors for offering your valuable time, generously giving back to our community, and demonstrating true social responsibility. Our 2024 Annual Campaign helped to raise over $650,000!

We are fast approaching the end of our Teams Campaign! On March 21 we held our 3rd Report Meeting virtually. We were honored to have Mark Howard, volunteer for Youth Sports, share his Y story and we also had Cassie Buzze, Youth & Family Director, challenge us with a Trivia Time game about sports and enrichment classes at the Y. As of this meeting, we have raised at total of $65,963 which is 53% of our goal. Our in-person Victory Celebration is on Thursday, March 28 at 6pm and we are hoping to get closer to our teams fundraising goal of $125,000. Get ready for a special night of the "Grammys"...so dress to impress!!!
