The plasma will be used to harvest antibodies to treat Covid 19 patients that are hospitalized and fighting off the disease.

Hi everyone,

Here is how we are taking COVID precautions:
1. We are screening temperatures at the door and have a couple of COVID related questions before you come in.
2. We will take you into the treatment room and bring you your consent and treatment plan forms.
3. Checkout will also happen in the treatment room and you will be able to set up follow up or future appointments then as well.

🔅UPDATE ON MY HEALTH 🔅
Thank all of you who for your questions and well wishes. I am feeling great!!

Since the SARS COV-2 Antibody Positive test I had 04/23/20, I also took a Nasal respiratory swab for COVID-19 to find out if I was still harboring the virus, despite feeling better and having the antibody test positive.

On May 1, the result came back negative; which means, as far as this particular Coronavirus is concerned at present, I am free from the virus and have the IMMUNITY (antibodies).

What we (the medical community) stilL dont know is for how long the immunity lasts....BUT, as far as being someone that you can safely be around, especially with close-up treatments, I am THAT M.D.!

I also want to reiterate that the Aesthetic center is also offering both swabs and antibody testing for anyone who may have been exposed, is feeling ill or needing to know about their COVID 19 status BEFORE they go back out to work (or the world!).

Hi everyone,
I'd like to share a personal message about my experience with COVID-19 and to let you know when we plan to re-open.

3 weeks ago, we had a patient test positive for Influenza A. Out of prudence, we also swabbed her for coronavirus 19. To my dismay, she also tested positive for this. As a precaution, the staff and myself tested the next morning. All returned negative.

End of story, right?
Not quite.

While I refrained from coming to the office after that negative test, at around day 6 I started to experience overwhelming fatigue, intermittent chills, body aches and a persistent nausea that I’ve NEVER experienced. All these symptoms came and went. I jumped onto Reflux medication (Nexium 40 mg daily and some days Pepcid complete), Tylenol 1000 mg every 8 hours, and stayed hydrated. All these efforts enabled me to recover fully, and I am now back to normal after 6 days of significant symptoms.

My wife and I quarantined ourselves since my exposure and thankfully, she did not catch the virus and is well.

To ensure everyone's safety, I tested myself again with the SARS COV-2 (COVID 19) antibody test and it was positive. This means that *I am no longer thought to be contagious, and now have IMMUNITY to this bug*.
(I do plan on donating some plasma to help assist others).

🔅COVID SERVICES AVAILABLE
We are testing for:
1) The antigen (nasal swab-if you think you are sick)
2) the Antibody (a blood test that is sent out to labs for analysis with results in 1-4 days)
If you or anyone you know is experiencing ANY of the above symptoms OR you are feverish or coughing, please call us. The rule of the day is STAY DISTANCE, STAY SAFE and STAY ALIVE!

I plan to re-open the office for the full aesthetic menu + medical services (in conjunction with local + state rules for distancing) on May 15,2020.

Dear friends -- not all of you may be aware that we provide general practice medicine - with a few additional specialities - along with our aesthetics services.

**We are open and can provide coronavirus scripts for testing once influenza is ruled out**

1️⃣

Step 1: We rule out influenza via an in-office test. Results come back in about 15 minutes.

2️⃣

Step 2: If suspicion remains moderate-high for coronavirus, we write you a script so you can get tested at Quest or LabCorp. This result takes 3-4 days, though a more rapid test is being worked on.
