Niparpon Johansen, MA, LMFT, ATR We implement art, music and mindfulness to heal from trauma and cope with life difficulties. When we are born, we are pure and innocent.

Experiences in life, traumatic or not, abused or not, have shaped our thoughts, affected our emotions, and changed our behaviors. Healthy and unhealthy relationships affect how we live our life…influencing us to trust or not to trust others. We become forgetful, forgetting that we have many choices and many paths. Some people turn to drugs and alcohol believing it is the only way out. Even more heartbreaking, some people believe that dying is the only way out…

My job is to help my clients find their true self…getting in touch with the child within, appreciating and loving who they really are. I walk along with my clients, guiding them and challenging them until they find their path. I implement art therapy and family therapy to inspire creativity, enhance expression, encourage communication, and develop understanding among family members. I speak English, Thai, and understand Laotian. I am mindful of the differences between cultures and beliefs. Other than providing services at my office, I also provide in-home services.
