A family that I’ve been treating for years saw that I needed a new office chair. They saw this and thought of me. So they brought it in this morning. That absolutely made my day! That was one of my “To Do” things that kept getting pushed down the bottom. But this act of kindness has taken a big load off my mind.

I honestly have the best patients. This blouse was brought by a patient who went to Guatemala and thought about me. And this sushi was brought by a patient who I shared that I love sushi and here they are blessing my life. The cute bobble head came from a patient that went to Japan and thought this would look cute in our office…and it does 😍

These are the things that make me feel so blessed and loved and confirm I am in my calling. Thank you!

April 2nd = World Autism Awareness Day

Whether you believe it was through family history or a vaccine, when your child is diagnosed with Autism, it is a journey of challenges that you now must take. As parents we spend so much time and effort with therapies to prepare our children to be ready for the world, in April, it is our turn to try to teach those around us about their world. Yes, it is challenging, but you also get gifted a child who is brilliant and experiences true joy, raw feelings, and pure love. They shine bright in a unique way.

Edith’s first Chiropractic adjustment at 6 days old. Some colleagues (which were males) asked why did I wait so long? Chiropractors tend to adjust their kids MINUTES after they are born. But the Chiropractors are usually male and have the freedom to do so while their wives are recovering. In this case, the Chiropractor was the one recovering from a C-section and couldn’t even stand up for the first days. So, priorities are different when the Chiropractor is the one that gave birth. 😉

So excited to get this from my patients today. This card is SO nice and the words inside almost made me cry. Thanks for the goodies that I look forward to using for some me time.

Today I learned what an overnight meal is. You add a milk of your choice to the oatmeal. Let it sit in the fridge all night, and in the morning you have a scrumptious breakfast. Thank you so much for the delicious gift.

I for one am very grateful to God for a supportive family that allows me to do what I do. Grateful for a husband that loves and supports me. Grateful for my patients that motivate me to be better and surprise me with their stories of wellness.

To me it is the sweetest thing when patients bring me things. It means that they took time out of their way to bless my life. And that moves me. My family was able to have a yummy breakfast with these pumpkin pancakes thanks to this blessing. Thank you again!
