I wasn't going to do a post about the new year, but then I hit 500 followers and thought it was a great time to reflect. I really got started in my business just about a year ago. I think I started with some 32 followers, some supportive friends, a few people from my certification cohort and a couple of people I didn't know. 500 followers seemed very far away. ⁣

If you aren't new here, you've probably heard me discuss my relationship with social media. It isn't my favorite. I could do without it, to be honest. I rarely use my personal account. But without it, I wouldn't be able to connect with all of you, doing what I'm most passionate about, spreading the word that YOU are the answer for your baby and you already have everything you and your baby need within you. ⁣

A couple of years ago, owning my own business was not on my radar. But as we all know can happen, with the birth of my daughter brought so many changes to who I was. Priorities shifted, passions changed. And now I get to do what brings me joy. This year, I hope to connect with even more of you & make a larger impact on the local community. ❤️⁣

So many of my clients this year have been within my local AZ community, which I love. During our conversations, we usually find we have lots of things/people in common or we are neighbors! I love making recommendations to local birth/postpartum/parent centered businesses. ⁣

Thanks for being here, for sharing my account, for being a client. Stay tuned this week for a 500 follower giveaway!🎉

Hi everyone! It's about time I reintroduce myself... ⁣

I'm Lauren. I have worked in the mental health field since college. After becoming a Mom myself, my passion grew exponentially for supporting a mother's mental health. One HUGE part of that is sleep, not only her own but her baby's sleep as well. So, as with everything else in my life, I took a holistic approach, enrolled in a baby-led sleep certification program & a year later I launched my business. I've been in a business for a little over a year now!⁣

✔️ I spent the first 21 years of my life in New York & have called Arizona home for the last 13.⁣

✔️I've been married for 3.5 years & a Mom for 2.5 years. We have a second little one on the way.⁣

✔️I love adventure, travel, spontaneity. You could probably convince me to up and move to an island or somewhere in the mountains very easily!⁣

✔️I'm extremely holistically minded. I believe we were made the way nature intended us to be and that you can find healing in those things that were here before we were. We live an 80/20 non tox lifestyle in our home. ⁣

✔️I'm a birth nerd, I became a new person in the *two* days that I labored with my daughter and during her birth and I want everyone to have the kind of peace that I had in my birthing experience. This time around I'll be having a homebirth!⁣

✔️Attachment, emotion, sleep- I can talk about them all day. Breaking generational patterns, doing what your intuition tells you, drowning out the noise- just some of the areas we focus on in my work with clients.⁣

✔️ I have two main focus areas in my business: I do education, mostly via in-person classes. And then I take 1:1 clients to do sleep work. The majority of my clients have babies 8 months to 18 months but I do take younger and older! My goal is help parents find more sleep for everyone without having to use any separation based or behaviorally based sleep training techniques. ⁣

Giveaway time! Collaboration with x . Two winners will receive a free registration to the holistic baby sleep crash course, on August 9th in Mesa, AZ. ⁣

This is a great opportunity for our Nanny community to learn more about biologically normal infant sleep! This class will teach you everything you need to know to support a family through the first year of an infants life. You’ll learnwhat to expect, how to support and optimize sleep for the baby and parents, and so much more. The class provides you everything you need to know about what is normal in the first year and this approach keeps supporting emotion and the attachment relationship (both with caregivers AND parents) at the forefront. This is a great class to take and then share the information with the families you work with- or use it to market yourself and your knowledge when you go on interviews with new families. ⁣
