It may seem easy, but don’t overlook the basics—these foundational questions can make or break your score on the licensing exam.

One commonly missed question:
“Which layer of the skin contains melanocytes?”

✅ Answer: Stratum basale (a.k.a. the basal layer)
💡 How to remember it:
Think B for Basale = B for “birthplace” of pigment.
Melanocytes live at the base of the epidermis, where they produce melanin.

Every hands-on practice session helps reinforce these core concepts—because understanding skin at every layer matters.
