Judy couldn't accept that every ache or symptom she was experiencing came from peri-menopause. She suffered from Anemia-Iron-Deficiency, high cholesterol, fibrocystic breast, Uterine Fibroids, depression, hypertension, eczema, allergies, shedding hair, insomnia, and post-traumatic stress disorder PTSD. Judy suffered from one illness, ailment after another, causing a constant sluggish feeling. Limited patients couldn't sleep, had brain fog, and felt like every month it was something different. Judy no longer felt like herself,
2013 started her years of frustration, one doctor appointment after another, having spent thousands on specialists, tests, copays, you name it. She was misdiagnosed or undiagnosed and given different medications and concoctions. I searched social media for answers, plus compared her symptom with family and friends, anyone that would listen, all in an attempt to improve her health. Judy was seeking a diagnosis, but no medical professional could help. "She kept telling herself, you're going to get through this. Your trooper, a force of nature, you don't quit … you go on." Judy had no other choice than to carry on every day despite how she felt. She sensed all these signs meant something more than peri-menopause, not a coincidence; this was not her nature. Following her initiation, practice process improvement and committing six years to clinical and academic research. She traced the fertility hormone estrogen back to an internal body endocrine system and the process of the adrenal glands. The glands play a significant role in the body's well-being. Judy discovered the glands:
• Influence how the body copes with stress; and
• How a host of other hormones are produced and regulated. The glands enable you to deal with stressors from every possible source, and with enough time, your body can heal itself and maintain a daily balance of mind, body, and soul connection. Gaining this information was critical in solving her health challenge. Judy was diagnosed with adrenal gland disease entitled "adrenal dysfunction." An imbalance of the adrenals, a condition that affects how her hormones are produced. Although she was experiencing peri-menopause, Judy had a lot on her plate, she didn't feel overwhelmed by life's responsibilities. She was accustomed to managing multiple projects, fulfilling commitments, juggling, getting things done, little did she know her situations and challenges had taken its toll. her lifestyle, the undertaking of her responsibility and the amount of daily stress she endured caused her adrenals were working overtime not being able to keep up with her body hormone demand. Judy was able to locate a doctor to help with her diagnose and treatment. She made some lifestyle changes, put some daily practices in place, balance her adrenals, and her body is able to heal itself. She now lives a more holistic balance lifestyle. Self-care is more important now than ever before, today's doctor's have limited time and resources to spend researching your symptoms. If they don't have a medical code, accurate diagnose is difficult to achieve, make you feel like you're a victim than a patient. Balance out your Stress is selfhelp guide about a personal health journey. Judy was inspired to share her story to help others recognize the symptoms, cause of conditions, who's at risk, how to diagnose, and conventional medical and holistic practices. Let her journey be your shortcut to wellness. ____________________________________________________________________________________
