Cassandra Wilson affectionately known as "Sandra" passed away on November 13, 2025 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, South Carolina.

She was born July 27, 1960 in Bishopville, SC to Annie Mae Wilson-Richburg and Willie Lee Dowell. Cassandra Wilson was proudly employed at Belk for over a decade.

Cassandra Wilson is survived by her son Mandel (Sherri) Boyd; grandchildren, Masen and Logan Boyd; her fathers Willie Lee Dowell and Willie Richburg, sisters, LaTonya (Sal) Wilson , Ayanna Richburg, Stacie (Milo) Campbell , Betty Champagne; brothers, Willie (Sharon) Richburg and Lynn (Sheena) Richburg .

Cassandra was preceded in death by her mother Annie Mae Wilson-Richburg and her grandparents Louvenia Dixon, Wiley Dixon, and Eugene Wingate.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1pm on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, 55 Dove Ln, Bishopville, SC.

Burial will take place at St. Mark Baptist Church in Bishopville, SC after the funeral.

Public Visitation will be held from 4pm until 6pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Bishopville, SC.

Family and friends are invited to attend and pay tribute to Cassandra's life.
