Parents are missing an average of 5.1 days of work or school per month because of diaper need. Let that sink in.
When families can’t afford diapers, the ripple effects hit hard — missed work, lost childcare, and real strain on mental health.
Our own Jen runs the Iron County Diaper Pantry right here in Cedar City to help bridge that gap. Diapers are donated by the community, rewrapped in packs of 25, and available for pickup twice a month.

This week we celebrated Read Across America Week in the most fun and silliest ways! 📚🎉

From Pajama Day to Wacky Dress-Up Day, Hat Day, Red & White Day, and even a tasty Green Eggs & Ham celebration, our classrooms were full of creativity, laughter, and lots of great books.

Students enjoyed fun reading projects, took plenty of silly pictures, and made memories that were just as wonderful as the stories we read. It was a week full of imagination, learning, and school spirit!

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and helped make this week so special. We loved celebrating the joy of reading together! 📖❤️

Happy International Women’s Day! 💜
I’m especially grateful today for the amazing women on our team. The work they do every day matters so much. Creating a safe, loving place for children to learn, grow, and become creative, capable, and kind.
Their patience, care, and dedication make a difference not only in the lives of the children we serve, but also for the families who trust us with them. I’m truly thankful to work alongside such an incredible group of women who give so much of themselves every single day.

Today we’re celebrating Miss Leesa’s 1-year anniversary with us! 🎉💙

When Leesa first joined our team, she already had such a special gift with the children. She loved on the babies with her whole heart and always had a desire to learn and grow. She was a little shy and quiet at first, but her kindness and dedication were clear from day one.

Over the past year, it has been so beautiful to watch her grow. She has taken classes, learned from the people around her, and truly stepped into her confidence. Now she’s steady, knowledgeable, and even helping teach and guide others(also she's low-key hilarious). Watching her blossom into such a strong and confident teacher has been such a joy.

We are so thankful for the love, patience, and heart she brings to our center every day. This year together has been so special, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her as part of our team.

Happy 1 year, Miss Leesa! We can’t wait for many more years together. 💕

Join us in celebrating Ms. Leesa! We are so grateful to have her as part of our Northstar family and appreciate everything she does for our kiddos each day.

Get ready for some crunchy, buttery fun as we celebrate with popcorn-themed activities and treats!

We’re celebrating Pie Day a little early with some sweet (and maybe a little silly) pie fun!

🧴 Poison Prevention Week – March 15–21
We’ll be focusing on important safety lessons to help our kiddos learn how to stay safe and healthy.

When children hear and repeat positive words like “I am kind,” “I am brave,” or “I can try,” their minds begin to look for ways to make those thoughts true.
