Last month, our team at Forward Motion took part in the Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation’s medical mission. In collaboration with a dedicated team of and doctors, we embarked on a two-day service trip to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Our team spent somewhere around 8-10 hours each day providing comprehensive foot care to the local community.
During our time, we treated approximately 700 to 800 patients, addressing issues such as callus removal, ingrown nails, and other more complex foot ailments. In addition to clinical care, we dispensed around 1,200 pairs of foot , dozens of ankle braces, and more than 100 pairs of shoes.
We are honored and deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute our expertise and orthotic solutions to this mission. Watching patients walk with renewed and reminds us why we do what we do, and it fuels our passion for innovation and service. The mission is more than a trip, it’s a chance to give back and be part of something truly meaningful.
This initiative not only provided essential support to the community but also fostered a spirit of collaboration and service. We’re proud to stand alongside the amazing physicians and volunteers who make such an impact year after year, and look forward to continuing this tradition of service in the years to come!
