I know I am not the best at having time to keep social media up to date, but I wanted to take a moment to make sure my repeat clients are in the loop. If you’re expecting, now’s the time to reach out! I have had to refer out two Octobers that have contacted me in the last week. My calendar for the year is filling up and I never want to have to turn away a returning client. Your comfort and support mean everything to me and I want to be there to make your birthing experience as smooth and empowering as possible.

Midwives are the experts in low risk patient birth. Midwives increase likelihood of a spontaneous vaginal delivery, vaginal birth after cesarean, and breastfeeding, and significantly lower rates of cesarean, preterm birth, low birth weight infants, and neonatal death. The vast majority of pregnancies in the United States are considered low risk yet only 12% are attended by midwives. Every other developed wealthy country in the world utilizes midwives at a higher rate than the United States and they have far better outcomes.
Births that are attended by midwives have better outcomes, families report a higher level of satisfaction with their care, and they lower interventions and healthcare costs.

School is out! Time for summer!
I LOVE these reusable water balloons. They don’t break when they hit grass, keep water contained when closed, and DO break when they hit things or people. Unlike, in my experience, standard water balloons. Win, win, win.
