Animal Communication with Charlotte Chanler

One of my favorite types of sessions are Pre Purchase readings. shared her experience of our session with her new superstar, Max ⭐️ He’s already cleaning up in the ring and I can’t wait to meet him in person during circuit ✨

“When I contacted Charlotte, I was hoping to gain clarity on whether or not Max would be a good purchase for me. I wanted to know his personality and if we would be a good fit for being together for recreational riding as well as competing.

As I am an older amateur rider, I wanted to know if Max was up to the task of taking care of me and if we could be compatible, and that he would not be overqualified for the job so to speak. My goal is to honor the spirit of the horse as well as where I am at emotionally and physically when I am looking to purchase.

My ideal relationship with a horse would be to know that we could grow together, and have fun, as well as be able to compete at a high level. I am looking for an energetic match!

The most meaningful takeaway from working with Charlotte was that Max had a lot to say about himself. He was already very confident, and wanted to assure me that even though he was young, he was going to mature into a very competent partner for me and achieve greatness with his show accomplishments.
It was amazing that he could articulate this to Charlotte!

Next steps became very clear for me as I knew I wanted to purchase Max, so I started connecting to him on a soul level which Charlotte helped me do. This ensured that he and I would start immediately bonding. It is a practice that I still do every day as there are days where I am not able to physically be with him.

Charlotte has helped me understand that animals and humans really can communicate with each other on a deep emotional and soul level. The horse does not need to be only looked at as a vehicle for results driven success.

I am a much better horse owner and advocate since knowing Charlotte and incorporating her wisdom into my life as well as my horses.

She is a true gem and her ability to communicate with animals is a blessing that anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of animals can benefit from.”

When I worked with this rescued tiger a few years ago I promised myself I would never forget what it felt like to sit on the earth and feel it shake with his footsteps.

I haven’t forgotten. I carry it with me everyday.

A new study in wild African lions suggests catching one another’s yawns has a benefit for animals living in cooperative societies.

Gabriel was the first horse I ever hired an animal communicator for.

We were at an clinic and I boarded my darling OTTB at Anne’s barn over the weekend.

Even back in 2005, Anne didn’t only focus on what we could improve in the arena. She generously shared the breadth of her Olympic level care routine with us. This included rider fitness and balance, and, fatefully, the importance of animal communication and bodywork in supporting horses at this level.

While I can’t remember the entire session (sadly no recordings on our phones in those days!) a brilliant takeaway I gleaned was this:

A strong relationship with an animal comes from listening more deeply than you ever have. It is supported by an openness to new possibilities and built on a foundation of taking responsibility as a caretaker/ rider/ owner.

Animal Communication is a powerful tool available to you as a horse person. Will you learn how to utilize it?

SOMETHING REALLY BIG HAPPENED!

Two days ago Salem wore a proper saddle for the first time. Not just wore it, but did so with joy.

For all my non horse friends here, the first time a horse wears a saddle is often a deeply stressful moment, usually ending in ‘submission’ from the horse...giving up.

This horse here though, she’s showing me the opposite - she’s confident, in control, comfortable and engaged.

Starting a young rescued horse in the middle of the city isn’t something I set out to do, but here she is, proving anything is possible with love and patience. 🖤 Being a professional animal communicator helps too ;)

Like most witches, I use tools for working magick.

Being a Horse Witch, my tools sometimes look like grooming supplies, but sometimes they look like things a Kitchen Witch or a Green Witch would keep.

This morning I cooked up some horse magic in my kitchen and made two salves for Salem.

The first is a Black Rose Healing Salve with activated charcoal. Perfect for bumps or bug bites, and the charcoal not only helps draw out impurities, it matches her coat perfectly 🌙

The second is a homemade version of Swat that I can put on her ears and around her eyes without worrying about all the toxic nasties in store bought horse care. 🧚
