“I don’t mind.”
…meanwhile your nervous system is screaming.

it’s“peacekeeping”, it’s actually self-abandonment 🌚.

Let’s talk about it. 👀

You don’t actually need to “do better.”
You need to stop carrying everything like it’s all yours to hold.

Because let’s be honest…
You’re smart. You’re driven. You get things DONE.

But you’re also:
– Overthinking everything
– Struggling to slow down without guilt
– Lowkey exhausted from always being “on”

And no one talks about that part.

Perfectionista is for the high-achieving woman who looks confident on the outside…
but is tired of the pressure that comes with it.

This is not another space telling you to just “think positive.”
This is where we:
✨ unpack the beliefs behind perfectionism
✨ challenge the pressure to always have it together
✨ build real, sustainable confidence

If affirmations alone worked… we’d all be healed by now.

Perfectionista is for the high achievers who look confident but secretly feel like they’re never enough.

Therapy is a judgment-free space…
but it is not a pattern-free space. 👀
Sometimes my job isn’t to fix the situation.
Sometimes my job is to pause the story and say:
“Wait… run that back one more time.”

I’m not here to shame you.
But I am here to help you see what you might be trying not to see.

Accountability is part of the process. ☕️

Self-care is not just bubble baths, candles, and pretending everything is fine while your nervous system is screaming in the background.
Real self-care is the kind that helps you function, breathe, and stay connected to yourself when life starts life-ing.
Sometimes self-care looks like:
• Going to therapy
• Saying no without writing a 3-page apology
• Eating an actual meal instead of surviving on vibes and caffeine
• Letting yourself rest without calling it laziness
Self-care isn’t just about feeling good.
It’s about supporting the parts of your life that keep you mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually grounded.
Because if the only self-care you practice is the cute kind…
you’ll still be exhausted.
And we’re not doing exhausted and cute anymore.
We’re doing well-supported and healed.
Save this for later and tell me in the comments:
Which type of self-care do you neglect the most?
And if you’re ready to go deeper than cute self-care tips and actually build habits that support your mental health…

Not all grief looks “serious enough” to other people.

Sometimes it’s a thing.
A memory.
A season of life that ended.

And instead of just feeling it, we shame ourselves for caring.

Instead of asking
“Why am I so upset about this?”

Try asking
“What did this loss represent to me?”

Because grief isn’t always about the object.

It’s about the meaning.

Full conversation in this week’s Taboo Tea episode. ☕

When we think about grief, we often associate it with the loss of loved ones. But what about the pain we feel over material possessions that hold significant meaning?

Grief isn’t just about big losses; it can also extend to things that may seem trivial to others.

Society often teaches us that grief is only valid for significant losses, making us feel foolish for grieving over "lesser" things.
But what happens when mourn what is lost judge ourselves for feeling that way.
In the latest episode of Taboo Tea, I invite you to challenge the urge to ask:
"Why am I so upset about this?"
and instead reframe the question to,
"What does this loss represent to me?"

This shift allows us to explore the deeper meaning behind our grief.

Learning to be gentle with ourselves during moments of grief, regardless of the object involved is necessary.

Tune into this weeks episode to learn more about how to honor your grief and how to navigate these feelings without self-judgment.

You’re not too much.
You’re just harder to control now.

And some people hate that.
If this hit a nerve… it might be because you’ve been shrinking yourself for the comfort of others.
