And honestly, that’s the beauty of therapy!
Sometimes healing looks like tears other times it looks like silence.
And sometimes… it sounds like a combination of Pac, Nas and Kendrick 😂😂
Expression is healing.
When we give emotions a safe outlet (music, art, writing, movement), we move from bottling up to letting go.
You don’t have to explain your pain to process it.
You just have to find a way to release it.
So here’s your gentle reminder:
Creativity counts as coping.
Sing it out. Paint it out. Write it out.
Whatever gets the feelings out!
