FAU NCHA Community Health Center The FAU/NCHA Community Health Center provides comprehensive primary care services, mental health services, diabetes management and much more.

We accept Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance and self-pay. We offer discounted fees for those who qualify. Organization Purpose

The mission of the FAU Community Health Center is to provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive, primary care services to the community based on the College of Nursing’s philosophy of caring and a commitment to health equity. As a part of Florida Atlantic University, the Center is a site to enrich student learning, and faculty research and scholarship. Vision Statement
The FAU Community Health Center will improve health equity and create healthy communities by providing community-based primary care grounded in a philosophy of caring. Services include:
• Comprehensive primary care
• Preventative health
• Mental health services
• Pediatric health services
• Nutrition services
• Laboratory work
• Referrals to specialty care
• Case management
• and Chronic disease management. Our classes include diabetes, obesity and hypertension education. The FAU Community Health Center is committed to providing innovative programs to slow down and prevent the effect of diabetes within our community. As a center of the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, our Vision is “to advance the body of Caring Knowledge in nursing through education, practice, research and scholarship to transform care locally, nationally and globally." The overall goal of the Community Health Center is to provide and evaluate a comprehensive program of family and community-centered diabetes education, and care for children and adults who are at risk for diabetes or its complications without regard for the person’s ability to pay. Essential goals also include multidisciplinary education and training of university students in various professional disciplines with particular emphasis on the preparation of nursing professionals. We treat all patients regardless of method of payment. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and the uninsured.
