Basketball Meets Mental Strength is a youth-centered camp created to combine basketball, encouragement, emotional wellness, and confidence-building for boys and girls.

We’re looking for amazing community support to help us make this day special for our youth through donations and partnerships.

If the most decorated athletes in the world are saying mental health comes first, maybe it’s time we listen.

Mental health isn’t separate from performance.
It’s the foundation of it.

For parents of athletes, this starts with the environment we create.
How we respond to mistakes.
How we handle pressure.
How safe our kids feel to be human, not perfect.

This is why mental health belongs in sports conversations early.
At home.
On the sidelines.
And in every youth program.

Let’s raise athletes who succeed and stay whole.

Ever wonder why your kid goes quiet after a bad game?
It’s not just disappointment. They’re deciding if it’s even safe to talk to you.
If they feel like they’ll be criticized, corrected, or lectured, they’ll shut down instead.
Not every post-game moment needs a pep talk or a breakdown of what went wrong.
Sometimes they just need their parent, not another coach.

If they can’t talk to you after a loss, you’re not the support system. You’re the pressure.
Let’s do better. For their game. For their growth. For their mental health.
