Join us for our next Aliya Academy event, ACE’s: Know the Score, Know Your Patients.

Understanding a client's Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) is key to effective, trauma-informed addiction treatment. In this session, participants will learn how to accurately administer the ACE questionnaire, interpret scores in a clinical context, and integrate this information into treatment planning.

Attendees will also gain practical tools to assess ACEs with empathy, recognize the long-term effects of early trauma, and enhance client engagement and outcomes through a deeper understanding of the root causes of addiction.

“It’s just alcohol” is something we’ve all heard, but for many, that simple phrase can mask a deeper struggle.

Alcohol is often seen as a social staple, even backed by science for its ability to boost mood and connection. But when casual drinking becomes routine or starts to impact your life negatively, it’s essential to ask: When does drinking become dangerous? How quickly can alcoholism develop?

At Aliya Health Group, we believe in having honest conversations around alcohol use. In our latest blog, we explore the questions people often wrestle with, like "Am I an alcoholic?" and shed light on what alcohol use disorder looks like beneath the surface.

📖 Read the blog to learn more: https://bit.ly/4leWEpj.

📞 If you or someone you love is struggling with alcohol use, call us today at (888) 930-6210. Compassionate help is just a phone call away.

It's just alcohol, how bad is it really? Drinking alcohol carries both short and long-term risks including serious health issues.
