Dear Beloved Community:

A Better Way Home Care recently celebrated our 1st 10 Years of service
as an independent, family-owned, non-medical home health care agency!

We strive to live our mission of "Providing personalized care and love that
help the elderly and disabled, to live at home happy and healthy,
while reducing stress on the family."

Our business journey has not been linear. There have been many
challenges, including the loss of my late wife and co-founder, Bonnie
James Glover to Covid in 2021. We've turned our pain into
assets that help us to serve our caregivers, staff, clients and
families in need, with empathy and compassion.

We also have much to be grateful for over our 1st decade, including:
- The privilege of serving hundreds of clients, including Veterans who
have given so much to our country.
- The hundreds of caregivers that we have hired and developed who serve
our clients with care and love.
- Our office support team members since inception, but especially our
current team of Marlynnda - Assistant Administrator, Cat - Director of
Nursing, Kelly - Scheduler, Maddy - Administrative Assistant (and more),
Francis - Business Development Manager and Cathy - Supervisory RN, who
demonstrate a spirit of service.
- A rewarding partnership with the Veterans Administration (VA) and
their faithful team of servants.
- Our many referral sources and community partners, especially the VA
social workers and staff.
- Recipient of the 2025 Palm Beach County Black Business Investment
Corporation's Excellence in Business Award, for exceptional performance
and achievement.
- Recognition as the Business Partner of the Year by Palm Beach County
Schools' Adult and Community Education, nominated by the great team at the
Chuck Shaw Technical Education Center.
- The Grand Opening of our headquarters in the Historic Northwest
District, to help with the economic revitalization of our community.
- The expansion of our service area to include Palm Beach, Martin, St.
Lucie and Indian River counties.

On a more personal note, I'm also thankful for God's grace, health,
Bonnie's enduring spirit, our sons Matt and Ben, family, friends,
community and the daily love and support of my new bride, Tami Lesser.

Greetings! Recently, A Better Way Home Care (ABW) received the Palm Beach County Schools Adult and Community Education Award for Excellence as Business Partner of the Year! We appreciate the nomination of our Principal Ms. Tomas and her team of the Chuck Shaw Technical Education Center. ABW has partnered with Chuck Shaw to hire and develop their well-trained Home Health Aide graduates for careers in home health care for several years .

Here are highlights from Ms. Tomas' nomination.
A Better Way Homecare has supported CSTEC and its students in the following manner:

Active Committee and Event Participation: They are members of the Home Health Aide (HHA) Occupational Advisory Committee, School Advisory Meetings, and participate in Career and Job Fairs, demonstrating a strong commitment to our program's direction and student placement.

Direct Student Engagement: President Craig Glover and Marlynnda Calixte personally meet with our HHA students before their certification, focusing on instilling core values like love, compassion, and patience—attributes essential for quality patient care.

Celebrating Educators: They show appreciation for teachers by participating and donating prizes during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Community and Partnership Building: They are well established in the local West Palm Beach Community. Most recently they received the prestigious 2025 Excellence in Business Award, given by the BBIC, Black Business Investment Corporation, for exceptional performance and achievements over the years. As a local healthcare employer, A Better Way hires and develops professional caregivers who deliver happy and healthy services in client homes. They consistently hire CSTEC HHA graduates!

Showcasing Student Success: They share numerous success stories of CSTEC HHA students, showcasing the positive impact they have on patients and the community.
