My whole life I have struggled with my weight. In 2021 I was diagnosed with a rare spinal cord injury which led to a year of physical therapy, rehab and the inability to lose weight due immobility. I put on over 80lbs that year. When my doctor told me I was 323lbs, I knew something had to change. She recommended I try a new weight loss medication called tirzepatide in conjunction with full bloodwork to check my hormone levels. I began my journey that day. With the medical supervision of Robin Davis, ARNP at The Fountain I have been able to reclaim my life.
I no longer feel exhausted, energy less and fatigued.
My joints don’t hurt anymore, so physical activity is much easier. Robin made the process easy and held my hand throughout my entire journey and continues to encourages me everyday to meet all of my healthcare goals. Every day I thank the girl in me that believed my life could still be something magical. I started this journey at 323lbs, I am now at 187lbs. 137 pounds gone forever and almost at my goal weight.
