The power we truly hold in our wombs is powerfull๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ .
Children are definitely a blessing, yet we shouldnโ€™t be pressured by societal norms to due so just because. Children is a full time and lifelong commitment with or without your parterโ€ผ๏ธPart of being a woman is having the right to choose and having full autonomy๐ŸฅฐChildbirth alone is such a huge deal, especially in the states with medical neglect. Postpartum depression is real. Todayโ€™s society with co parenting and single parenthood is a reality that could happen unexpectedly. Women are taking more precautions in conceiving with this economic climate as well. As a Doula, and a child free woman myself , ladies please take note๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸพDo whatโ€™s best for you.๐Ÿ‘ŒMake sure they are deserving, supportive in each and every way. Every child deserves a mother thatโ€™s fully loved and supported in bringing in life โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

๐Ÿฉธ Stop Yanking the Placenta.

Why are so many OBs still forcefully pulling placentas out of peopleโ€™s bodies like itโ€™s garbage that needs to be evacuated?

The placenta is not a nuisance.

Itโ€™s an organ.
A sacred one.

One that sustained life.

One that deserves respect.

Parents can birth their placentas on their own, physiologically, gently, and without someone yanking on the cord like theyโ€™re starting a lawnmower.

Forced cord traction isnโ€™t always necessary.

In fact, it disrupts physiology, increases risk of hemorrhage, and disrespects the final stage of labor.

But theyโ€™re in a rush.
They donโ€™t trust the body.
They donโ€™t trust you.

And yet, that final birth, of the placenta, deserves just as much reverence as the baby who came before it.

Stop treating the end of labor like a cleanup job.

Itโ€™s still birth.

And it still matters.

What is a Doula?

Many people have never heard of the word doula. It derives from a Greek term โ€œto serveโ€ and thatโ€™s exactly what we do. We serve women in our community during , before, and after pregnancy.

โœจWe support
โœจWe empower
Along with many other things , in providing emotional support during your time of need. Upholding your birth rights and birth plan. We are here for you. Will be taking postpartum clients in the summer โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ.
