🚨As some of you may know, veterinarians across the country have been battling a deadly new respiratory virus found in dogs.

Unfortunately, as of this month, we’ve seen multiple confirmed cases in our county. Each progressed quickly over the course of a few hours resulting in death due to hemorrhagic pneumonia.

As always, we hold stringent standards for cleanliness including being a low volume hospital, multiple daily cleanings, sterilization between every patient, safely isolating patients with any respiratory symptoms, & more.

Ensure that your dogs aren’t congregating with groups of other dogs at daycares, groomers, dog parks, or boarding.

Also, ensure that they’re up to date on vaccinations including K9 Influenza & Bordetella. Lastly, if you notice any abnormal behavior including coughing or sneezing, call for care at first signs.
