Our owner and President, Marina Ramirez, gained first-hand understanding of the difficulties of taking care of an aging parent when her mother passed away. She and her sisters became the primary caregivers for their father, who had recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. At the same time, she saw her mother-in-law struggling for many years to take care of her husband, who suffered from Parkinson's.
These heartfelt experiences made her realize the need for quality in-home care for the elderly — and moved her to create Assisting Hands Palm Beach.

That personal understanding is at the heart of everything we do. We know what families are going through because we've been there too.

CARE MANAGER ROLE AVAILABLE

Description:
This position has primary responsibilities for staffing and scheduling services for Assisting Hands.
- Matches caregivers with clients and coordinates caregiver schedules.
- Is responsible for all correspondence with the client, family members, and caregivers.
- Involves extensive telephone work and interaction with caregivers, clients, family members, and health care professionals.
- Involved in recruiting, training, and educating applicants.
The Lead Care Manager will organize and ensure supervisory visits are completed per state and franchise requirements.
- Part of on-call rotation.

Qualifications:
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills, must be well-organized and have good attention to detail.
- Requires at least two years’ experience in staffing or customer service in a health care setting. Experience with home care, home health or senior services preferred.
-Familiarity with Word and Excel
-Must be a good problem solver and able to work independently.
-High school diploma required, BA or Associate degree a plus.
