Description
Includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:

(1) Must be able to lift equipment, items and materials of at least 30 lbs.

(2) Must be able to reach overhead equipment, items and materials of at least 15 lbs.

(3) Must be able to reach overhead up to 6 feet, and reach to the floor.

(4) General commercial cleaning duties, including but not limited to:

Trash collection and disposal, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and kitchens, glass and window cleaning, securing facilities with locks, alarms and key pads.

Thoroughly dust all horizontal surfaces, including desktops, files, window sills, chairs, tables, pictures and all manner furnishings.

Damp wipe all horizontal surfaces to remove stains and spillage.

Damp wipe entrance metal and fingerprints on entrance and interior office/conference room glass.

Damp wipe telephones.

Polish all bright metal work.

Dust all vertical surfaces of desks, file cabinets, chairs, tables and other furniture.

Sweep along edges, vacuum underneath furniture and in corners.

Remove fingerprints and marks around light switches and door frames.

Job description includes all above, but is not limited to just these items. Must be available to do what is needed to satisfy any and all complaints and/or requests.

As a mobile construction field technician, you will travel within a multi-county area to provide maintenance, repair and construction services to our commercial clients, which include various retail stores and commercial facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Use your broad skillset to perform a wide variety of services as prescribed by our clients, which include, but are not limited to, drywall installation and repair, painting, floor covering installation and repair (vinyl, ceramic tile, carpet tile, wood), concrete repair, carpentry, woodworking, fixture assembly and installation, shelving installation, pressure washing, etc., and occasionally minor or major renovations.

- Survey trouble calls and use your problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude to find solutions and make repairs.

- Provide accurate labor and material estimates for larger jobs.

- Use an Android tablet to take pictures and provide detailed notes for each job.

- Routinely work early mornings and the occasional overnight, as larger projects in a retail environment may only take place after regular store hours.

- Work independently the majority of the time, but occasionally work as part of a team on larger projects.

Requirements:

- Responsible, punctual and exercise good judgment.

- Possess a reliable work vehicle, preferable a truck or SUV unless one is provided for you.

- Possess a variety of hand and power tools and are skilled in their use.

- Are well-spoken and can effectively communicate with store personnel - in person - and account managers via phone.

- Are familiar with smart phones/tablets and are comfortable with their use.

- Have a neat, professional appearance.

- Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

- Are fluent in English, both verbal and written.

- Will pass a criminal background check and drug test.

- Can lift up to 50 lbs.

This position requires responsibility, leadership, common sense, advance planning/organizational skills, ability to create and apply programs, systems, and policies, and the ability to delegate orders to field cleaning crews. Area Supervisor is to report back to Office of any employee changes, problems, and accidents that may occur, in a timely manner. This position reports to the Regional Manager and Account Manager. The primary job functions are listed below but additional responsibilities may also be given to employee.

1. Customer Visits – periodic visits are required and additional visits may be required to deliver supplies, or if client complaint calls are received, or if management requests visits for other various reasons.

2. Receive and respond to report inspections, complaints, FYI tasks, and work orders from management.

3. Review complaints and inspections with management.

4. Conduct periodic meeting with operations manager, special services & other supervisors if needed.

5. Call into or send digital reports as needed to office from each location and report issues and order supplies as needed.

6. Manage time, appointment, and commitments of self and staff. Must train staff to follow all SMG: time & attendance call-in, cleaning, security and other procedures.

7. Follow up with crews (the same day) if deficiencies are found. Complaints must be resolved and verified with the complaining party the same day that they occur: Superior must approve all exceptions.

8. Manage and continually improve quality of work and implement quality control systems as necessary.

9. Weekly complaint ratio goal is four (4%) percent or less.

10. Provide coverage when one of your team is unable to make it to work.

11. Job description includes all above, but is not limited to just these items. Must be available to do what is needed to satisfy any and all complaints and/or requests. All obligations and responsibilities above must be filled and are included in your compensation plan. The amounts stated in this job description are the entire compensation agreement; there are no other amounts obligated or agreed upon, written or verbally, outside of this job description.
