Kevin Ray, M.D.

Congratulations to Dr. Kevin Ray on his selection as the “Chief of Psychiatry”. Dr. Kevin Ray is a board-certified psychiatrist who completed residency training in psychiatry at Northwell Health Zucker Hillside Hospital. Dr. Ray has worked at various inpatient and outpatient settings to deepen his knowledge in the field of Psychiatry. He joined North Florida South Georgia VA HCS in 2021 and relocated to WBP VA HCS in September 2025.

Delight Thompson, Psy.D, Ed. M.

Congratulations to Dr. Delight Thompson on her selection as the “Chief of Psychology”. Dr. Thompson has been with the WPB VAMC since 2014 and has covered different roles and service areas of the mental health service. She obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialty in neuropsychology and has a master’s in education. She is a strong advocate for education and learning and has presented many didactics and seminars within the VISN. Dr. Thompson will continue to be the Training Director for the Psychology Internship Program at the WPB VAMC.
