✨World Mental Health Day✨
I was inspired by to share a few tools that have helped me reach a more positive state of mind. I say “more positive” because I am a human who makes many mistakes and sometimes loses that state of mind 🙏🏻🤍 you will lose it, from time to time. it’s more about how quickly you can re-calibrate, than never needing to calibrate.
🧘🏻♀️ practice some kind of mindful movement (yoga, weight training, qi gong, tai chi, so many options)
🕺🏼 dance when no one is watching
✍🏻 journal any negativity away (sometimes I write letters to people who have pi**ed me off to work through those feelings without losing someone I love and honoring my Anger)
❤️ listen to yourself, to your body, to your mind and to your heart. even if they are saying different things. learn to listen.
🪩 SING! at the top of your lungs, no matter how tone-death or how “bad” you sing. LET IT OUT. singing is healing on so many levels.
👯 talk to your loved ones, check in on them, reach out and say I love you. community is so important. we are not designed to be solitary.

remember that being well to me might look different than what being well to you will look like.
let’s not take life so seriously. yes we are here to do work. we are here to grow our souls.
