CannaMed-Rx™ will be managed initially by CannaMed Farms, Inc.’s, d/b/a CannaMed-Rx™ Founder, Bruce I. Lowe, Founder & CEO
Bruce I. Lowe was born in Miami, Florida, and having led an accomplished business career, looks to extend his professional success into development of the leading, for-profit Licensed Medical Cannabis Treatment Center(s) in Florida. Lowe owned and operated one of the largest wholesale automobile sales organizations on the American east coast. He grew his wholesaling business into a multi-million dollar operation which provided wholesale vehicles to numerous dealerships in the Mid-Atlantic region. Bruce Lowe, Inc. re-sold more than 20,000 vehicles during its tenure. Lowe has demonstrated business prowess in the highly competitive automotive field. While management oversight of the company was Mr. Lowe’s primary day-to-day responsibility, he was involved in every aspect of the business, and takes great pride on his hands-on approach. Bruce will enlist a similar style as the CEO of a “Medical Ma*****na Treatment Center(s).”
Mr. Lowe moved to Brentwood, California in 2009 to supervise the build-out and management of a 10,000 ft.² “state-of-the-art” Indoor Hydroponic Medical Ma*****na Cultivating Facility under California's 1996 Compassionate Use Act. Collective Management Associates, LLC (CMA) quickly became recognized as one of Los Angeles’ most respected Medical Cannabis Cultivating Facilities. Lowe's other interests include Sympatico Equine Rescue Inc. a 501(c)(3) charity organization, based in Wellington, Florida where he serves as President. Lowe’s interest in operating a Medical Cannabis Treatment Center(s) in Florida is personal. Like many who are attracted to the medical cannabis movement, his involvement stems from a personal experience with a loved one who was sick. Lowe’s late grandmother, Cecelia Lowenberger resided in Florida while she endured a long yet dignified fight with cancer in the early days of his Life. Lowenberger was the focal point of family life for the entire Lowenberger family, and her struggle with the disease left a lasting imprint. During her treatments, doctors indicated that Medical Cannabis may be a viable option for pain relief. Because the drug was illegal at the time, the option was never pursued. Following her death, Mr. Lowe was left wondering whether Medical Cannabis could have in some way lessened his grandmother’s pain and suffering. Inasmuch as the State of Florida has initiated a progressive outlook on Medical Cannabis for those with a debilitating medical condition, Mr. Lowe has been an active proponent of the movement. Upon passage of SB-528, the medical cannabis statute, Mr. Lowe will undertake to become a “licensed caregiver” in the state’s program. Florida’s program will heighten Mr. Lowe’s interest in the medicinal values prevalent in medical cannabis, and spurred his interest in acting as CEO of a Florida Licensed Medical Cannabis Treatment Center(s). As a caregiver, he will be able to provide comfort and assistance to his patient(s). Lowe’s combination of business acumen, acquaintance with multiple professions, deep commitment to helping patients and Florida roots serve as the backbone of his pursuit of a Medical Cannabis Treatment Center(s) License. He looks forward to building a Treatment Center(s) that is a ‘beacon of light’ for patients throughout Florida, and he plans to do so with his grandmother’s spirit close at hand.
