Clinic Director at BoysTown Behavioral Health Clinic

Diane Kelly, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist licensed in Florida. She has extensive training and experience working with children and families. Dr. Kelly grew up in Palm Beach County and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami. She earned her master’s degree and doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University. After completing her internship year at the Oklahoma Department of Health, she returned to south Florida for a post-doctoral fellowship with the Child Protection Team at the University of Miami’s Mailman Center for Child Development. Dr. Kelly then worked for 10 years as a training director and supervisor to advanced graduate students and clinical staff, taught effective positive parenting skills, and offered continuing education to mental health professionals. While raising her daughter, she worked in a private practice for 5 years and taught classes as an adjunct professor to undergraduate students. As a board member of a local nonprofit organization, she advocated for the prevention of maltreatment of vulnerable children. Her current position is Clinic Director at the BoysTown South Florida Behavioral Health Clinic.

Dr. Kelly’s clinical work covers a range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, attention problems, behavioral disorders, developmental disorders, interpersonal relationships, personality disorders, and adjustment to stress and trauma. She utilizes evidence-supported interventions that emphasize individual and family strengths, and works collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to facilitate positive change.
