Today we want to share a story of growth.

L. is a resident at Dignity Village. She is known for her style and her impressive barber skills, but her journey at IHCS did not begin easily. When she first entered the program, she was still struggling with alcohol use. She made the decision to enter detox, and that decision marked a turning point.

After returning to IHCS, L. committed herself to change. She began attending group counseling consistently and participating in AA meetings. Today, she is enrolled at Chuck Shaw Technical Education Center working toward her GED.

Her progress reflects both personal readiness and the strength of coordinated support. Our multidisciplinary team continues to walk alongside her, providing behavioral health services, case management, and housing stability.

At IHCS, this work is personal. It is our team showing up consistently. It is meeting people on the streets, in our clinics, at Dignity Village, and in counseling rooms. It is coordinated care that connects housing, health, and behavioral support so progress is possible.

Our IHCS Outreach Team is out in the streets meeting people where they are: building trust, providing basic necessities, conducting health check ins, and connecting individuals to housing, behavioral health services, and medical care.

Outreach is often the first step toward stability. A conversation can lead to a screening. A screening can lead to treatment. Treatment can lead to housing.

This work is only possible because of community support. Donations help us provide hygiene kits, food, transportation assistance, medical supplies, and the resources needed to move someone from the street into care.

IHCS will be hosting a Community Wellness and Dignity Day on Wednesday, April 1st from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

This day is about access. It is about respect. It is about making sure people in our community can connect to services in a space that feels welcoming and supportive.

We will provide direct access to health resources, support services, and on site assistance designed to meet real needs. When care is brought into the community, barriers are reduced and people are more likely to seek help early instead of waiting for a crisis.

Riviera Beach Integrated Care will work to keep you healthy and away from long waits at an emergency room full of sick people. Our practice is operated by highly trained practitioners, and supported by specially trained and certified staff members. The staff includes experienced clinicians with extensive medical training in the diagnosis and treatment of primary and emergency care problems.
