This was similarly proven in men and detailed in a 2008 BMJ study. The study is cited in the pages of Get Serious. STRONGER SURVIVE LONGER. This is irrefutable.

This cohort study evaluates associations between muscular strength and mortality in women aged 63 to 99 years accounting for accelerometer-measured physical activity and sedentary behavior, systemic inflammation, and other markers of aging.

This morning, I was speaking with my son and training partner about this. And it’s why I’ve been on GLP-I agonists LONG BEFORE COVID-19 and before celebrity doctors/podcasters started talking about them.

Chronic inflammation doesn't just destroy your joints and arteries — it eats your brain. Neuroinflammation is the mechanism behind Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and accelerated cognitive decline. The #1 driver? Insulin resistance (IR). The same metabolic dysfunction killing your heart is killing your neurons.

THINK GLP-I AGONISTS as adjuncts to clean nutrition and strength training.

MY view this AM. ‘Days off’ are important for resting the CNS and maximizing recovery from heavy bouts of strength training. Do something that relaxes your body AND mind ➡️ Find YOUR ‘church.’

Melissa (a former nationally ranked collegiate hurdler) and I ran intervals today. I’m not a natural runner. I grind through it. From day one she kept saying, “It’s all hamstrings and glutes.” I didn’t get it. I was trying to run harder. She was trying to teach me to run SMARTER.

Speed doesn’t come from flailing. It comes from power in the posterior chain. See for yourself. [She doesnt know I posted this 😂. Happy Valentine’s Day, Babe ♥️]

Tobacco-free ni****ne (also a CNS stimulant) is next. That is NOT a joke. Do your research. There are ‘risks,’ but the benefits likely outweigh them.

New Harvard study of 130,000+ people finds that drinking two to three cups of coffee daily cuts dementia risk by 18%. Caffeine appears key to brain protection benefits.

Stay very far away from this. It’s a FAD - like most exercise programs out there. You will OVERTRAIN and get injured, potentially setting you back months (or longer). Use your brain and stay away from the nonsense. Remember CrossFit? It’s basically history for similar reasons.

Viral 75 Hard fitness challenge promises rapid weight loss through extreme daily rules and mental toughness, but experts warn the intense regimen may be unrealistic.

True or even partly so, this exemplifies what I've said for more than a decade: ‘Celebrity’ doctors are just that > celebrities. They’re who they are because of WHO they KNOW, not what they know or their medical acumen. Do some digging for yourself. The majority of these ‘doctors’ are well… not. Pick and choose carefully.

In any endeavor - be it surgery or college football - HUMILITY goes a long way. Else, you're likely to get your ass kicked.

One of Musk’s most outlandish comments thus far. We are WAY OFF at this point. AI cannot currently reliably read films, let alone be used to guide a robotic surgeon. Surgery is NOT like chess. It cannot be solved with brute force. It is far too ‘analog.’ 20 years is my prediction. First comes more low-lying fruit, like RELIABLE and SAFE autonomous vehicles (on all roadways, not just city grids).

This isn’t progress in science. It’s progress in honesty. The purported ‘New’ has actually been written into our genome for 150,000 years. That is NOT a typo.
