I stopped using wearables to track my health and became more aware, not less.
Not because data isn’t useful, but because I shifted from numbers to body awareness and response.
For years, I tracked many things such as daily steps, sleep quality, VO₂ max, and heart rate. But I realized how often I relied on a number to validate how I felt.
So I paused.
And started tuning in
• My energy when I wake up
• My breath, shallow or deep
• My strength and endurance across my menstrual cycle
• Whether my body needs rest or movement
That’s when it clicked
We don’t lack data. We lack connection.
Your breath is data.
Your body signals are data.
Your awareness is your most powerful tool.
Wearables can guide you but they should never replace your ability to feel.
Because true health isn’t just measured it’s experienced.
