EMF Medical Aid Society continues its free breast cancer assessments, screening, and awareness campaign for our valued clients at Helpstars.

We’ve been privileged to serve many wonderful clients, and we’d like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Electrosales Harare branches for their support and participation. We were also delighted to host visitors from other medical aid societies ,a strong sign that together, we’re building a more health-conscious community.

As always, we encourage all women to stay vigilant and watch out for the signs of breast cancer.
Here are some symptoms to look out for:
1) A lump or thickening in the breast or underarm area
2) Changes in the size or shape of the breast
3) Dimpling, puckering, or redness of the breast skin
4) Unusual ni**le discharge or inversion
5)Persistent pain in one part of the breast

Early detection saves lives.
If you notice any of these symptoms, don’t wait — consult your healthcare provider for screening and guidance.

Together, let’s continue raising awareness and supporting one another in the fight against breast cancer.

About Us

EMF was established in 1948 as a Private Industrial Medical Fund to provide medical aid cover to employees in the engineering industry. However, in 2002, the Fund was transformed into a fully-fledged medical aid society which opened up to the public. The name changed from Engineering Medical Fund to EMF Medical Aid Society and the society started focusing on recruiting voluntary members.

Currently, the Society has got offices in Harare, Bulawayo and Kwekwe, EMF Medical Aid Society has four (4) schemes namely PRIMARY AID SCHEME, PRIVATE (COMPULSORY) SCHEME, ALPHAMED SCHEME AND SUPERMED SCHEME.
