t just about patients reading letters off a chart – it is a full, comprehensive and detailed exam of your visual perception, vision, and eye health. Your comprehensive eye examination at our office includes:

- A review of your current health and optical history
- Vision accuracy examination
- Testing for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia
- Eye pressure measurements
- Eye health examination
- Retinal examination
- Dilating drops

Early detection gives people the best possible chance of maintaining optimal vision. A comprehensive eye examination not only reveals the health of your eyes, but can also be an indicator of your overall health. We recommend that people of all ages should have their eyes examined by an optometrist every 1-2 years, this will ensure good vision and overall health. Our office is equipped for patients of all ages. Our main goal is to establish a long-term relationship with our patients. OHIP covers an annual major eye examination for:

- Patients 19 years old or younger
- Patients 65 years old or older
- Patients of any age if: Diabetes Mellitus, Glaucoma, Cataracts, Retinal Diseases, Amblyopia, Visual Field Defects, Corneal Diseases, Strabismus, recurrent Uveitis or Optic Pathway Diseases. Languages: Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
