About me

Hi, I’m Jade,

Owner & Co founder of Senior Errand Service.

As a young adult working in a care home, I learned a lot. I loved listening to seniors with their fascinating life stories. I realised that older adults have many wise words and that one day I myself will become a senior.

At the start of 2020 lockdown it came to my attention that there were senior adults which I knew who became increasingly vulnerable due to Covid 19 and I wanted to support them while continuing to provide a basis for independence. I made contact with people I knew to see if they would like me to assist them. That developed and I have been spending an increasing amount of time assisting with various tasks, for example doing shopping or taking them to the hospital. After receiving fantastic feedback from those I was supporting, I realised I wanted to pursue this further as a career.

My aim is to be able to give back to my community whilst establishing a
flourishing, respectful business, giving the care I would hope to receive myself in the future.
