What is the difference between elbow and golf injuries?
Tennis elbow is pain or problem on the outside of the elbow whereas golfers’ elbow is pain from, on the inside of the elbow.
Now, both of these conditions can be treated in a rather similar way.
They both can be treated with first and foremost, rest. Secondly, anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen, sometimes a brace and then, if and when conservative treatment measures fail. Then either of these disorders can be treated successfully, with a Platelet Rich Plasma Injection. Also known as PRP.
And PRP is essentially taking platelets from your own peripheral blood and having them spun down in a centrifuge, and then carefully given back into the elbow such that your body, can begin to heal itself.
