What to do to combat hearing loss

We totally agree with the message of protecting your hearing and the impact that regaining hearing has on life. We have also get similar feedback from patients on the Lyric as well.

Aug. 10: TODAY’s Matt Lauer takes a hearing test and discovers surprising results. In addition, Jim McDade, a man with hearing loss, shows his invisible hearing aids, and Dr. Shelley Borgia talks about how small today’s hearing aids are compared to older versions.

Ear Candling, Busted. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, then fast forward to the end and see how much "ear wax" supposedly came out of our clean artificial ear with a window. We knew that it wouldn't suck anything out, but were surprised by the waxy residue left on the table. This candle wouldn't have taken stuff out, it would have left stuff behind.

BBB (Better Business Bureau) Rates Regional Hearing and balance as a business that you can trust. The BBB guide, that came out in the Sunday May 1st Post Register, lists Regional Hearing and Balance on Pg. 50 as a trustworthy business. The guide is a little confusing since the first section of the guide is for the Boise Area, and our area is in the back.
