EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique is commonly referred to as Tapping, is a tool that can greatly shorten the time that traditional talk therapy typically takes. EFT has been compared to EMDR [Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing], Acupuncture, and the Meridian Healing System from Chinese Medicine. After a decade of using EFT, I know the only important thing about it is --
IT WORKS! Be
cause modern medicine does not yet have a permanent solution to cure addiction, depression, or anxiety we have to find a better fix than pills that only provide temporary relief. In my experience the best and most effective solution for addiction is and has always been twelve step programs. Unfortunately, these can get a person to abstinence but don't always complete the task. To be completely free of the issues that started the addiction cycle, the depression, or anxiety we need to address the triggers that created the original problem. By teaching people to use EFT, they can use the tools that they've learned to go past where 12 step programs stop and proceed to feel the freedom of a live beyond their addiction, depression, or anxiety. TESTIMONIAL
The following is a testimonial provided by my first wife, a dear friend who has always been kind enough to lend a hand when I've asked, Thank you, Mandy
I have known Gary Jackson for over 40 years and have been on a wonderful journey with him throughout that time. Gary has always been a "counselor" providing words of encouragement and guidance to everyone that has touched his life. He has a unique ability to see inside people - directly into their heart, mind, and soul. Without the struggles that he endured, Gary would not be in the position to provide others with such insight and support though out their healing process. He has the ability to combine "talk therapy and EFT practices to support individuals that are struggling with overcoming trauma, addiction, and feelings of being completely lost. I honestly can say, that without Gary's interaction, support, and belief in me as a person, I would not be who I am today- and for that I am eternally grateful to this man. Mandy Fogle
