As a primary care physician, Dr. Wofford focuses on wellness and preventative care, women’s health and the diagnosis and treatment of chronic conditions, including
diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity, COPD and asthma.
“I got into medicine the long way,” says Dr. Wofford. “I was a medical receptionist, a medic in the Army, and then an Army nurse. Every step I took in medicine made me more engaged and interested in the human body and treatment of illness,” she says.
“The best care is care that a patient believes in and wants. I believe in a collaborative approach that allows patients to decide their priorities. I meet them where they are to help them reach their health goals.”

Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center and HealthForce Kentucky, in collaboration with Grayson County Schools, offered free well-being assessments and wellness information to all Grayson County School System employees today at Grayson County Middle School!

This assessment included diabetes, body mass index, abdominal circumference, blood pressure and ultrasound carotid artery screenings.

Thanks to our community partners, over 120 screenings were conducted!

This mental health summit is a day of learning for educators in the Commonwealth. Hosting over 500 teachers, nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and over 30 breakout sessions, the day brings the best in mental health to equip educators with the best practices and methods to serve the whole child.

Beginning in August, the OH Sports Medicine Walk-In Clinic will be open on weekdays and on Saturdays! Friday night athletes who experience injuries during games now have the option of Sports Medicine care on Saturday. But you don’t have to be an athlete to benefit from convenient orthopedic walk-in care for minor fractures, concussions, sprains, sore joints and carpal tunnel.
