Studies show that having a bigger social circle is good for your heart and brain. The quality and quantity of social ties appears to improve health as much as diet and exercise. It also helps with memory. Seniors and adolescents are the most vulnerable regarding their overall health and well being. The seniors felt less lonely, more engaged in life and showed improvements in verbal fluency and mental processing speeds. Enjoying piano playing from one of our own residents! In 1947, at the age of 8, Mom played a 10 set on the piano. At the time, Mom was the second youngest female ever to play a 10 piece set or more at Carnegie Hall. A plaque is displayed of this at Carnegie Hall! 🎶🎵
