We are feeling grateful for this bright ray of sunshine on a rainy day. Today 9-year-old Mullica Hill resident, Madelyn dropped off nearly 50 care packages including activity books, snacks and hygiene items for patients at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. She also teamed up with Kind Heart Crafts in Mullica Hill, along with some friends to craft and gift inspirational bracelets for patients. Thank you Madelyn!

Inspira Health is proud to announce the opening of its new Autism Diagnostic Center (ADC) to address a critical need in Southern New Jersey. The ADC is designed to offer early testing, diagnosis, and comprehensive resources to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

We're grateful for the support of Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald and others who were key in helping Inspira secure funding for the new center.

Yesterday, the Philadelphia Wings and Inspira Health hosted more than 300 students from Lakeside Middle School for their brand-new Sticks for Students program. The Wings and Inspira will share their free assembly program designed to improve the health and vitality of youth across Cumberland County by creating safe and convenient sports opportunities for all.

During the assembly, students had the opportunity to learn more about the game of lacrosse and the importance of healthy communities through an interactive, board-game style assembly featuring Wings players.🥍

We recently welcomed Melissa Gott, D.O., a colorectal surgeon, to the Inspira Health team. Dr. Gott approaches medicine collaboratively, partnering with her patients and working alongside specialists to develop the best treatment plans. She’s also committed to making her patients comfortable, whether it’s through her surgical techniques or her open lines of communication.

This approach is important because gastrointestinal symptoms are not always easy to talk about but a lack of communication can be detrimental to your health, especially when it comes to catching and treating conditions early.

While treatment options for colorectal conditions have improved over the past few decades, the occurrence of colorectal cancer is rapidly rising among young adults. Dr. Gott emphasizes the importance of preventive care and early intervention, which includes getting your regular colonoscopy at the recommended age and letting your P*P know if you're experiencing symptoms.
