We have so far raised just over £400 for the Public Automated Defibrillator which will be located outside our Bearsden branch.

Hi all

Our pharmacist at our Elderslie branch, Asif who a lot of you will know due to his great work in the community has had a recent bereavement of a close family member, his uncle Dr Pervez Ghaus.
If anyone can and would like to donate to a worthy cause he is raising money in memory of his uncle for St Vincents Hospice which provides such a vital and amazing service to local communities and are fantastic at what they do. Cancer is going to affect 1 in 2 of us, so come on and let's do something good!

A big well done to our pharmacist prereg trainees who have all passed their final exam after working hard in our pharmacies for the last year and are now fully fledged pharmacists who we are sure will continue to look after our customers when in doing a shift and take the profession forward

You can book via our website, DM on here or Google, phone the pharmacy or simply pop in to find out more or to book an initial consultation ( £20 for initial consultation, if you have ear wax needing removed after the consultation then it is £20 an ear )

Road works everywhere and now it’s Finnieston’s turn, our branch here offers a free prescription delivery service if you struggle to get to us

***Argyle Street - Road Closure - 12th to 18th March***

Argyle Street will be closed from the junction with Finnieston Street to the junction with Haugh Road, for resurfacing.

The road will be closed to all vehicles (except those in connection with the works and emergency services), from Sunday 12th March to Saturday 18th March between 8am and 6pm.

You may have seen in the news that Boots are looking to stop dispensing weekly pill boxes.

We would just like to assure everyone that we would never put restrictions on vital services like this that help aid patients where appropriate. Much like Free Prescription Delivery services that the bigger pharmacies now charge for and we don’t.
Infact we have invested in technology to help us dispense more weekly blister packs ( dosettes) and don’t have any waiting lists for this service.

We are always happy to take on new patients and help them where we can with managing their medicines, healthcare advice and offering more new vital services eg ear wax removal; blood tests

🎉🎉Proud to have won the Pharmacy Covid Champions trophy last night at the biggest pharmacy industry awards- Scottish Pharmacist Awards 2022
Everyone was saying well done to me on the night, but the reality is this is all down to our Reach pharmacy teams and staff who sacrificed family and put their life’s in danger at the height of Covid and stayed open all the way through the pandemic when many businesses stayed closed. So well done to all involved in the Reach Pharmacy family, all your hard work paid off and this is a little thankyou in recognition of that ( and let’s not forget the whole pharmacy network for doing likewise ) . Saying all of that, let’s hope there doesn’t need to be a category like this again as no one wants another Covid!!

Proud to be involved in this pilot to recycle insulin and weight management pre-filled pens to do our part in helping cutting down our customers carbon footprint and reduce landfill waste. Pick up your PenCycle box from one of our stores and once it’s full of your used insulin /weightloss pens drop it back in store and we’ll give you a new one or if you can’t get in you can post it via the FREEPOST Royal Mail address printed on the back of the box

Every year in the UK, insulin pens are among 23 million medical pens that end up incinerated or sent to landfill as, until now, there has not been
a viable recycling alternative. This is not sustainable.

FAQS:
What will happen to the pens I return?
Every pre-filled Novo Nordisk pen returned to us through PenCycle will be recycled and given new purpose. This scheme has been proven in other countries where Novo Nordisk have shown the positive impact repurposing these materials can have:
The plastic has gone into new furniture
The glass has been repurposed into lightbulbs
