MUSC Health COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at East Cooper Medical Pavilion Immunocompromised patients who are 12 and older can schedule a second booster dose at least 4 months after completion of their first booster dose.

Now Vaccinating as young as 6 months old as of June 21, 2022.
-Patients must be at least 7.5kg (16.5 lbs) to receive the vaccine at our MUSC COVID-19 vaccine locations. Please be prepared to give the clinician a recent weight of your child
-For children under the weight of 16.5 lbs, please schedule an appointment with your pediatrician. If you do not have a pediatrician or your pediatrician is not

providing the COVID -19 vaccine at this time, please call our COVID-19 scheduling line at 843-792-1414 to speak with a representative

Patients who are age 5 and older can schedule a booster shot 5 months after completion of their primary series*.
*A primary series for non-immunocompromised patients is comprised of 2 doses, whereas a primary series for immunocompromised patients is comprised of 3 doses. Patients who are age 50 and older can schedule a second booster dose at least 4 months after completion of their first booster dose. MUSC Health's Vaccination Clinic offers the Pfizer vaccine. We're so thrilled to change what's possible for kidney transplant patients in the Upstate!

Opening today – a new clinic to improve convenience for Upstate residents who undergo kidney transplants with MUSC Health.

Developed in collaboration with our partners at the state’s only comprehensive academic health system, the MUSC Health Transplant - Anderson clinic in Suite 4100 of the AnMed North Campus means residents of Anderson, Pickens, Oconee counties and northeast Georgia no longer have to leave the community for pre-surgery and post-surgery care. They can stay right here at home, where preparation, care and recovery are easier and better.

Opioid use disorder (OUD) affects millions across the U.S., and for those facing intimate partner violence (IPV) and PTSD, recovery can be even harder.

Drs. Amber Jarnecke and Tanya Saraiya from Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) are leading a groundbreaking effort with $5 million in funding from The National Institute on Drug Abuse - NIDA to address these links. Their new digital toolkit will help clinicians identify and support OUD patients experiencing IPV and PTSD.
