If you experience pain or swelling, bruising, unusual angle or if you are unable to put weight on or apply pressure to the affected area, visit a St. Luke’s Urgent Care. Allergies occur when your immune system reacts to a foreign substance such as pollen, mold, insect stings or pet dander. Symptoms can range from mild (rash or hives, itchiness, runny nose, watery/red eyes) to severe. If your symptoms are mild, visit one of our St. Luke’s Urgent Centers. More severe reactions, including difficulty breathing, should be seen in an emergency room.
