WELCOME TO THE TEAM 🌟 Kimberly Humphrey, NP, is our newest provider at the Mt. Pleasant location!

A native of the northeast Texas region, Kimberly was born and raised in nearby Texarkana, TX. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2003 before earning her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University in 2015.

She has successfully performed multiple duties as an RN over a 12 year period in a variety of settings, including PICU, labor and delivery, newborn nursery, oncology/hematology, inpatient rehab, home health (adult and pediatrics), case management, administrative work, and hospice. Her previous accomplishments also include serving as an FNP for Pediatrics, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Specialty Care - HIV and Hep C, and Neurology.

Outside of the hospital, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the beautiful northeast Texas lakes.

May is - that's why we partner with the Preeclampsia Foundation to kick off a month of ensuring that EVERY mother in any pregnancy knows the signs and symptoms of preeclampsia: severe headache, swelling in the hands and face, visual issues, nausea and vomiting, stomach or abdomen pain, sudden weight gain, and/or shortness of breath.
