Today marks the first day of spring and the beginning of a brand new astrological cycle. It's spring!! And with spring comes birth, life, growth, warmth, and light; something we all could use to lift our spiritual vibration and the vibration of this planet. Today the light battles the dark, and tomorrow it wins. Focus on the light as it grows a little each day until it finally peaks at summer solstice. Focus on life, growth, and vitality. Today we can shift our consciousness as we harness the Aries energy, ARIES is cardinal fire. So, as many of you already know, this year has started out with big changes for Urban Sanctuary. With much thought and deliberation, I made the difficult decision to close the doors to Urban Sanctuary and allow new doors and opportunities to open; one of which is joining the team at The Lotus Wellness Spot on downtown 25th Street. I am officially an independent practitioner for the Lotus, as of this week!! Still offering Reiki, energy work, astrology readings, and classes.
You can continue to follow my services here, AND if you don't already, hop over the Lotus page and check out all of their AMAZING wellness offerings. SO MUCH GOODNESS!!!😍

Hello friends! I have a big and exciting news.
I have made the decision not to renew my lease in the space that is Urban Sanctuary, and to go solo as an independent contractor for the beautiful and amazing on 25th Street Ogden- offering the same services and classes as always. I am currently in transition between the two spaces so please bear with me for appointment and class scheduling. Astrological Insights~
Ok friends, this week just might be the most dramatic and intense week of the entire year of 2020. We are starting off with a bang!

January 10th, this upcoming Friday, we will have a TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE at 20 degrees of Cancer. This will highlight power struggles between the rise of feminine power and the fall of patriarchal power. This masculine/feminine energy seeks balance in its expression; powerful, yet compassionate; assertive, yet receptive. Notice how this is playing out in your life this week. All cardinal signs will feel this push pull energy the strongest, especially those with planets at 18- 22 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn.

To add even more tension, on January 12th, this upcoming Sunday, we will experience the great Pluto/Saturn conjunction, in the sign of Capricorn. This is a date that astrologers have been talking about since 2012! It foretells of powerful political upheaval on the horizon. Pluto represents destruction and erosion to outdated systems, structures, lifestyles, and relationships; Pluto brings death to that which needs to die. Saturn represents the work in rebuilding something even better and more substantial as we move into the future. To summarize, look for areas in your life that are showing signs of weakness and decay, does something need a complete overhaul in order to bring it back to life? Now would be the time to let go of resistance to this change. If something is over put it to rest and move on. If something can be revitalized then put forth the hard work and bring it back to life!

For those of you celebrating birthdays this weekend, prepare for a year deep transformation and evolution, you are under massive spiritual construction and identify shifts!

How many of you experienced some intense shadow work and deep spiritual insights over the past 3 weeks? Happy Mabon✨
From now until November 2nd the veil that separates our world from the spiritual will grow increasingly thinner, making it an excellent time for ancestral work and celebrating with our deceased loved ones. Today is about gratitude, balance, rest, and transformation. Honoring the cycles of life and death; light and darkness. Tomorrow marks our descent into the long night. Until winter solstice on December 21st when we celebrate the return of the Sun.

Cosmic happenings: Sh*t's gettin real!! Actually, it isn't and that's the problem.

We are learning HUGE lessons in discernment and transparency right now. Things/people are not necessarily as they present themselves to be. Please use your intuition and gut feelers over the next couple of months, the universe, (Jupiter) is trying to expose those dirty little secrets so that we can rest easy in life.

We have Jupiter, the truth seeker, challenging Neptune, the liar, to reveal his true identity. Meanwhile, the Virgo energy is challenging all of us to trust our gut and use caution in every situation that feels or looks 'fishy'.

Here's what we're working through: Illusions, distortion of the truth, falsehoods, deception, masks, confusion, and straight up manipulation.
We are fine tuning our judgment and reason skills. Pay attention to your surroundings and favor using your head over your heart over these next weeks as we are being given a huge dose FALSE reality.

Eclipse season is upon us!!!! You are probably already feeling the effects of these powerful and transformational energies.

July 2nd will bring us a new moon solar eclipse at 10 degrees of Cancer= emotions are running high; sensitivity, home, roots, family, parents, and inner security needs will show up in ways to force shadow work. What needs to be transformed in our lives; what needs to die so that something more beautiful can be born.

July 16th will bring us a full moon lunar eclipse in the sign Capricorn= blocks, frustration, restriction, repressed emotions, and the need to mature and evolve through old limiting behavior patterns and ways of thinking.
